If you are absent, it is expected that you will keep up with the reading of Frankenstein, working through the packet designed to cover all chapters. I will post the page you should be on, and some of the reading will be done in class, while some will be done at home. Expect a final exam on the book on Wednesday, May 21.
By Friday, May 16 we will have finished the novel and will review.
Remember that you can refer to the "character map" to help you keep track of "who's who." As you read, put yourself in Victor's shoes and then in the monster's shoes. What anxieties and fears do they have?
Vocabulary Unit #14 test is Friday, May 16, your last regular vocab. test!!!
We will be reading George Orwell's story "Shooting an Elephant" on pages 1317-1326. You should take notes on the author and the story. We'll also be reading Doris Lessing's story "No Witchcraft for Sale" on pages 1327-1336. Again, take notes. These are the last two pieces of literature we will be looking at. They will be included on the final exam at the end of the year.
*Have you heard? There is a ban on "Senioritis." STAY THE COURSE!!!!!
